Which Cars Are Fitted With Android Auto?

Android Auto is a mobile app developed by Google to mirror features from an Android device to a car’s compatible in-dash information and entertainment system.

It’s neat, it’s simple, and is designed with safety in mind.

The interface can be powered by controls on the car’s wheel and voice activation to keep distractions down to a minimum.

As well as an Android smartphone, you will also need an Android Auto compatible car. So, what cars can you get which are fitted with the system? See our list below to find out.

Abarth

Both the compact and sporty 595 and 695 (2017-present) models feature Android Auto, so you can combine both connectivity and performance.

Alfa Romeo

The Guilia, Guilietta, MiTo and Stelvio all boast the system.

Audi

Only the Sportback trim gets Android Auto for the A1 family, however all A3, A4, A5, A6, and A7 cars get the system.

If you want one of the brand’s high-quality SUVs with mobile compatibility, you’re in luck. The Q2, Q5, and Q7 SUVs. In terms of sport cars and roadsters (Audi‘s forte) the TT and R8 also include it.

Citroen

The French manufacturer Citroen offers the system on Berlingo, C-Elysée, C3, C3 Aircross, C4, C4 Cactus, C4 Picasso, C4 SpaceTourer, C5 Aircross, and Jumpy models.

Fellow Group PSA brand DS – a former luxury subdivision of Citroen until 2015 – also have vehicles which feature Android Auto. They include the DS 4 and DS 5, as well as the 2018 version of the DS7 Crossback.

Fiat

Across the Fiat 500 range you have the standard 500, 500L, and 500X which all include Android Auto. Alongside them, the Argo and Tipo feature it.

Ford

Ford has one of the biggest selections of cars in its range that feature Android Auto. The C-MAX, Edge, Explorer, Focus, Kuga, Mondeo, Mustang, Transit, and Vingale range feature the system, plus many more.

Honda

The Civic (2016-present) is probably the most renowned Honda model which features Android Auto. However, the Accord, CR-V, Fit, Freed, Odyssey, Pilot, and Ridgeline models include it also. The last five are not mainstream models in the UK market, though they could still be available second-hand.

Hyundai

The i10, i20, i30 and i40 feature Android Auto, along with the Sante Fe and Sante Fe Sport, the latter of which has a punchier V6 engine.

Jaguar

Android Auto is compatible with the majority of Jaguar’s fleet, including the XJ, XF, XE, F-Pace, F-Type, E-Pace, and I-Pace.

Jeep

Only the Compass, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler models come ready with Android Auto fitted.

Kia

Much like Ford and Hyundai, Kia features Android Auto almost across its whole range. The Soul, Soul EV, Sportage, Carens, Ceed, Forte, and Forte Coupe use the system. The new Stinger also includes Android Auto.

Lamborghini

The 2018 Aventador is the latest model to feature Android Auto, along with the Centenario. The Huracan and Urus (2019) also feature Android Auto.

Maserati

Three Maserati models qualify are kitted out with Android Auto. The Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte.

Mercedes

Mercedes offers most of its models with Android Auto as a standard feature. The A-Class, B-Class, CLA, C-Class, E-Class, GLA, GLC Coupe, GLE, GLE Coupe, S-Class, SL and SLC all use the smartphone mirroring tech.

Mitsubishi

Android Auto comes on a range of Mitsubishi cars, with the ASX, Delica D:2, Mirage, Mirage G4, Outlander, Outlander PHEV, Pajero, and Pajero Sport featuring it as standard. Also on the list is the Eclipse Cross and the new 100% electric i-MiEV.

Nissan

While the popular Juke and Qashqai are yet to feature Android Auto, the Nissan Leaf, Altima, Kicks, Maxima, Murano, and Rogue are all up to date with the system.

Peugeot

The 208, 2008, 301, 308, 3008, 508, 5008, Expert, Partner, Rifter, and Traveller are among Peugeot‘s cars which come with Android Auto.

Renault

You have a lot of choice when it comes to getting a Renault car fitted with Android Auto. The Clio, Clio Estate, Captur, Kadjar, Espace, Grand Scenic, Megane, Twingo, and Zoe all feature it.

Seat

With a smaller pool of cars featuring Android Auto, Seat has the Alhambra, Arona, Ateca, Ibiza, Leon, and Toledo that use the technology.

Skoda

Across the Skoda range you’ll get more than just practicality. In recent years, the Czech brand has become synonymous with technological advancement. As such, you can get the Fabia, Karoq, Kodiaq, Octavia, Octavia Estate, Yeti, Rapid, Rapid Spaceback, Superb, and Superb Estate with Android Auto.

Subaru

The Subaru Impreza (2017) is the only model to feature Android Auto as standard so far. However, the Legacy Outback and BRZ (2018) will get the system soon.

Suzuki

Suzuki has a lot of models fitted with Android Auto. The Hustler, Ignis, Lapin, Solio, Solio Bandit, Spacia, Spacia Custom, Spacia Custom Z, Swift, WagonR, and WagonR Stingray all feature it.

Vauxhall

The British manufacturer Vauxhall includes Android Auto on the Adam, Astra, Combo, Corsa, Crossland X, Grandland X, Insignia, Mokka, Viva and Zafira.

Volvo

The Volvo XC90, S90, V90, V90 Cross Country, XC60, S60, V60 and XC40 all have Android Auto fitted on them.
