< Back to blogOur top cars to lease for less than £200 per month
These cars are in no particular order, but are all available to lease through Moneyshake for an impressively affordable price of less than £200 per month.
1. Ford Fiesta – from £167 per month

The car
The Ford Fiesta may be playing second fiddle to the Vauxhall Corsa when it comes to sales, but we’d argue that the Fiesta is one of the best hatches money can buy you these days.
Its precise, agile handling and punchy turbocharged engines available across the range ensure you’ll never get bored of its drive. On top of this, all Fiesta models are reasonably sized, have big windows and plenty of driver assistance tech as standard that, combined, make it very easy to drive.
This year, Ford has announced that a 2022 update to the Ford Fiesta will bring about a number of key changes. For starters, the badge will be moved to the centre of the grille, while new front bumpers, LED headlights and optional Matrix LED headlights will be available.
The spec

We have lease deals available for the popular and sporty ST-Line version of the Ford Fiesta, starting from £167 per month*.
This is a very nice spec and one of our favourites due to its sportier features that set it apart from the rest of the range. It’s true value for money, especially when you consider that it comes with 17in alloy wheels, a firmer suspension that improves handling and some racier feature such as aluminium pedals and dark roof lining.

2. Seat Arona – from £195 per month

The car
As far as small SUVs go, the Seat Arona is a really good option if you want something that feels modern. Seat recently updated the Arona range, adding a refreshed interior design and better infotainment system, two key ingredients of a successful family car.
What will surprise you most about the Arona is its tardis-like interior. Sure, it’s considered a small SUV, but passengers well over six foot won’t struggle for head or leg room. Space in the rear is generous too for a car of this kind, with plenty of leg room for a couple of adult passengers to sit there comfortably for longer distances.
In the boot of the Arona you’ll get 400 litres of space, enough room for five litres of carry-on luggage. And, while there isn’t clever seating features which allow the seats to slide backwards and forwards to prioritise space, there’s still essentials like a height-adjustable boot floor which allows you to easily load items in the back without having to work around a large load lip.
The spec

You can get behind the wheel of the very generously equipped SE spec of the Seat Arona from just £195 per month* when you lease through Moneyshake.
It may be the entry-level model in the Arona range, but it’s got everything the modern driver will need to enjoy driving. Namely, it comes with 17in alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and a contrasting roof. There’s also brilliant driver assistance systems onboard that make driving this car easy, including cruise control with speed limiter, a lane keeping system and emergency brake assist.

3. Nissan Qashqai – from £196 per month

The car
After releasing the third-generation Nissan Qashqai last year, this trend-setting SUV has only got more popular. Which is hard to believe when you consider that a whopping five million of these cars had been sold by the time this latest version came along.
But this do-it-all family car has captured an audience of drivers that needed a combination of practicality, affordable driving and enough modern styling and tech to feel like they’re ‘with the times’.
The updates to the new Nissan Qashqai were made to ensure that it kept up to date with stiffer competition from rivals. And it hasn’t disappointed either, with a very slick new integrated grille immediately uplifting what was a rather dated, tired design of old.
On top of this, Nissan has given its best-selling model a new platform which is more lightweight and larger. In turn, the car is easier to drive and more practical inside.
The spec

The Nissan Qashqai Visia is a very good entry point into a tech-savvy SUV that comes with all the bells and whistles you need. We have lease deals available on this trim from only £196 per month*!
This spec has the car’s excellent new mild hybrid 1.3-litre 140bhp petrol engine that delivers decent performance and fuel economy.
There’s also excellent safety features onboard as standard which earned it the coveted 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating. As standard, the car comes with a huge list of brilliant features, including: intelligent forward collision warning; traffic sign recognition; emergency and breakdown call; intelligent cruise control; lane departure prevention and blind spot warning.

4. Vauxhall Corsa – from £181 per month

The car
The UK’s number one selling car in 2021 – the Vauxhall Corsa is a great all-round hatchback. Practical enough for a small family, super easy to drive and with a new design that is more mature, while at the same time retaining the typical youthful sportiness of the Corsa. What’s not to like?
There’s then the car’s affordability of the Vauxhall Corsa, which has always been one of its selling points. As with previous generations before it, you’ll be able to get a Vauxhall Corsa with fuel-efficient 1.2-litre petrol engines that average around 50mpg. They’re cheap to insure too thanks to fairly low fuel emissions.
Whichever Vauxhall Corsa you choose, you’ll get a long list of solid standard features with your car. Each model has a fully-fledged touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, plus plenty of driver assistance systems that make it a joy to drive.
The spec

The SRi Edition of the Vauxhall Corsa is one of the best in the range, with many style upgrades. A black roof, sports seats in the front and 17in alloy wheels make it the trendy option. We currently have lease deals available for this premium spec from just £181 per month*.
What’s more is that this spec only comes with the best engines available – the turbocharged 100bhp or 130bhp units. The latter is only available as an automatic, but the shifting for it is very smooth, so is worth considering for a little bit extra per month.

5. Seat Ibiza – from £194 per month

The car
Easily one of the best hatchbacks to drive in the entire class, the Seat Ibiza range was updated in 2021. The facelift has meant updates that include 15in alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights and driver assistance tech such as cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and lane assist.
Just like the older model, you’ll get the option of three 1.0-litre petrol engines that range from a naturally aspirated 74bhp to a turbocharged 94bhp unit and flagship 108bhp engine that is available on the sporty FR Sport spec.
It’s not just all about the performance in the Ibiza, however. Inside there’s plenty of practicality and comfort that can easily make this a car suitable for a small family. This rings true when you look at th boot of this car too, which is the biggest one in the small car class at 355 litres.
The spec

Our lease deals for the Seat Ibiza SE trim start from around £194 per month* and represent great value for money. This is because they come with brilliant features as standard, including smart 15in alloy wheels, an 8.25in infotainment touchscreen display with full link smartphone integration that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
You’ll even be able to select the peppy 95bhp petrol engine with turbocharging for improved performance.

6. Nissan Juke – from £182 per month

The car
This second-generation Nissan Juke has a lot more flair than the original model. Its sharper body lines and new grille with refreshed headlights give it a much more modern, aerodynamic look.
A benefit of these changes, which came in 2019, is that the new Juke has a much quieter cabin when you’re out on the road. Then there’s the 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is much more hushed than those in competitors such as the Skoda Kamiq and Volkswagen T-Roc. It’s also gusty enough for driving on motorways or in the city, thanks to its 112bhp.
Regardless of which Nissan Juke you go for, you’ll benefit from lots of great standard equipment on board. This includes tech-savvy safety and driver convenience functions that, coupled with the car’s high driving position, make it very easy to drive.
The spec

The entry-level Visia and mid-range Acenta trims are available to lease for less than £200 per month. However, we’ve featured the Acenta price here because, in our opinion, for just £181 per month*, it offers the better value for money.
Over the standard Visia trim, you’ll get smarter 17in Sakura alloy wheels, the full NissanConnect 8in touchscreen entertainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, plus a rear-view camera.
